John admires the professionalism and dedication of all Hamilton | Appotive staff and feels his foremost contribution to the firm is an ability to formulate practical business solutions. In his spare time, John enjoys boating at the family cottage.

John graduated from the University of British Columbia and Ottawa University in 1970 with an LL.B. He later graduated from Osgoode Hall in 1972 as Barrister-at-Law and co-founded Hamilton | Appotive in 1977.

John is a member of the Law Society of Upper Canada, the Ontario Bar Association and the Carleton County Law Association. He has been an instructor for the Bar Admission course of the Law Society of Upper Canada.
