Peter graduated from Trent University in 1982 with a bachelor of arts degree in History, and from Queen's University in 1987 with an LL.B. He has practiced law with Hamilton | Appotive since his call to the Bar in 1989.

Peter appreciates "how much we all cooperate for the benefit of the client" and feels his strongest contribution is the ability to listen closely to clients and then attain their desired result.

Peter is a member of the Law Society of Upper Canada, the Ontario Bar Association and the Carleton County Law Association. Peter is also a member of the Board of Directors of Help the Aged (Canada).  In his spare time, he hikes, golfs and skis, and enjoys relaxing at the family cottage.
