Eric Appotive is on the organizing committee for Ottawa's inaugaural charity ride called Cycle for Sight on behalf of the Foundation Fighting Blindness, which will take place on June 27, 2010. 

On March 12, 2010, Eric Appotive gave a presentation on Tendering to the Ottawa Construction Association.

On January 28, 2010, John Hamilton, Eric Appotive and Allison Russell participated in a charity ski race to raise money for Ronald McDonald House.  Hamilton | Appotive LLP continues to annually sponsor the event as a silver level sponsor.

On April 17, 2009, Eric Appotive gave a presentation on Tendering to the Ottawa Construction Association. 

On March 20, 2009, Eric Appotive gave a presentation on the Construction Lien Act to the Ottawa Construction Association.

On August 27, 2008, Stephen Appotive, Eric Appotive and Crystal Schulz participated in a charity golf tournament raising money for Community Home Support - Lanark County, which is a non-profit organization helping residents of Lanark County achieve independence, health and social well-being.

On August 26, 2008, Allison Russell gave a presentation about the Small Claims Court at the "Excelling at Articles" CLE. 

On August 25, 2008, Crystal Schulz participated in a charity golf tournament where all proceeds were for the benefit of the Ottawa Hospital Foundation in support of equipment for the Irving Greenberg Cancer Centre.

On July 12, 2008, the Hamilton | Appotive team hit the beach at the HOPE Volleyball Summerfest in support of charities including the Ottawa Food Bank and the Ottawa Deaf Centre.

On June 29, 2008, Frank Falsetto was elected to serve on the Board of Directors of the Villa Marconi Long Term Care Centre. Villa Marconi is a non-profit charitable organization that seeks to promote and enhance the quality of life of its residents and the community at large.
